Hindus present campaign with 2-foot version of good-luck charm candidate reportedly carries
Just when we all were getting confused as to whether or not Barak Hussein Obama is a Christian or not, something else gets thrown into the mix.
Does Obama practice Hinduism?
Apparently he carries a small Lord Hanuman good-luck charm with him wherever he goes. Why?
The monkey symbolism of Lord Hanuman is related to the notion that a human being's mind is ever active and never restful, hence the depiction of a human being with the face of a monkey.
But, why does Obama practice idolatry (Ooh, the I-word) by carrying something around for good luck?
I guess it really doesn’t matter. There are Hindu who believe he is Hindu. "The idol is being presented to Obama as he is reported to be a Lord Hanuman devotee and carries with him a locket of the monkey god along with other good luck charms," reported the Times of India.
A devotee? I guess as long as it gets him votes, he’ll be anything to anyone. The next thing you know, he dress up like Princess Leia in the gold bikini from Return of the Jedi, to get the sci-fi fan vote. Or maybe he’ll carry some broccoli around with him to get that green vegetable vote. The options are endless.
Really it is consistent with Obama’s professed belief that Jesus Christ isn’t the only way to heaven. Even though Christ Himself, said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6
Come on, Barry boy! Make up your mind and stick to one faith for yourself, please.
