It's the Oompa Loompelosi

Come with me – And you’ll be…
In a world of pure imagination!!!!!

The Oompa Loompelosi

Oompa loompa Pelosi doo
I've got another puzzle for you
Oompa loompa Pelosi dee
If you’re a fool you'll listen to me

Why did you stay on the house chamber floor?
I left long ago on my whirlwind book tour.
I don’t care if we need cheaper gas.
The America people can just kiss… my… ass!

I am al-ways better than you!

Oompa loompa Pelosi dare,
If you're not smart then you just will not care.
You will live in ignorance `cause,
The Oompa Loompa Pelosi does!

Dems decide to "kick it" while we still have outrageous gas prices

So, you still think the Democrats are looking out for you? I for one will NEVER be convinced of that now…

After a few weeks of the US House of Representatives discussing and passing bills regarding minutiae releventiae, the Democratic leadership decided to kick it for a few weeks while leaving the current energy act discussion dangling with nowhere near as much importance as those hanging chads of 2000. While apology and reparations for slavery and keeping lead out of toys have made the USHOR “plays of the week” in the main stream media, oil prices are still too high and something has got to be done about them NOW!

In other words, things have been accomplished in the house, but just like the SNL character Velvet Jones romance book title, I feel like I’ve been kicked in the butt by love.

However, just when it seemed that the House would yet again walk out the door with token victories and superfluous accomplishments, the energy debate took the forefront.

At noon, on August, 1 2008, the Democrats turned out the lights, shut down the cameras and headed home for the month. But some fifty Republicans insistent on enacting legislation to address skyrocketing oil prices remained on the House floor for more than five hours, swiping, sniping and griping at the democratic majority and making grand and patriotic speeches which garnered cheers from the gallery.

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, R-Mich. Said, "This is the people's House, This is not Pelosi's politburo."

Democratic aides were furious at the GOP members' refusal to leave and kicked out reporters from the Speaker's Lobby.

House GOP members are incensed by Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's moves to block voting on a plan to reduce dependence on foreign sources of oil. Republicans claim that there are enough votes that include support from a significant number of Democrats.

The Republicans wrapped up their “chamber tea party” at 5:05 p.m. by singing "God Bless America," and left the chamber with the crowd chanting, "USA! USA!"

Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, and other GOP leaders opposed the motion to adjourn the House, at 11:23 a.m. Because Pelosi refuses to schedule a vote allowing offshore drilling, the American economy will continue to suffer and our national security will continue to be threatened.

At one point, the chamber lights and microphones were turned off, but then returned while Rep. John Shadegg, R-Ariz. was speaking.

C-SPAN, which has no control over House cameras, stopped broadcasting after the official adjournment.

Apparently, Republicans tried to prevent Capitol Police from removing the press from their gallery above the floor. GOP leaders tried to find other Republicans to rotate in for Blunt so reporters would not be forced to leave.

Blunt's office sent out a message saying: "Although, this Democrat Majority just adjourned for the Democrat 5-Week Vacation, House Republicans are continuing to fight on the House Floor. Although the lights, mics and C-SPAN cameras have been turned off, House Republicans are on the Floor speaking to the tax payers in the gallery who, not surprisingly, agree with Republican Energy proposals. All Republicans who are in town are encouraged to come to the House Floor."

Congress is set to adjourn at the end of September and will take most of August off for recess.

Now is the time, folks, to be a part of this process. Remember that it is supposed to be OF the people as well as by the people and for the people. Join us in the blogosphere and contact your representative, no matter what party they represent and give them a reason to stay on the job for you. Let them know that you will not support someone who ignores the needs of the American people. You can reach members of the House and members of the U.S. Senate by calling 202-224-3121. The official House website contains web pages for all members and includes e-mail addresses for most. The official Senate website also contains web pages for all members and includes email address for some.

You can view some of the streaming videos Rep. Culberson referenced here.

I am pleased to congratulate and give kudos to the House GOP members for finally showing some backbone and doing the kind of things we elected them to do. Stay vigilant in this as we need you to represent us, not just show up in D.C. to work at a job.

I hope my rekindled confidence in you will not be shunned by this merely being a token political act. But I do have faith that you will do the right thing and maybe even inspire some of the opposition to see the light.

Obama Fortuna

I am tired of having to COPE and CRINGE every time I hear “HOPE AND CHANGE.”

This has become more than just a campaign slogan from the opposition. It has become a klaxon, a red alert, a call to arms. In fact, every time I hear Barack Hussein Obama speak, I seem to always hear, loud and clear, the O Fortuna movement from Orff’s Carmina Burana.

Its ominously emotional tones seem to perfectly go with the words BHO speaks at his rallies. I really became concerned since the piece was based on 13th century manuscript collection by clergy and students who wrote it to satirize the church. Did I mention that it was composed in 1930s Germany?

Click play to the video below and listen (you’ll recognize it after a few moments):

The following is an English translation of the lyrics of O Fortuna. Click play again and read while you listen:

O Fortune,
like the moon
you are constantly changing,
ever growing
and waning;
hateful life
now oppresses
and then soothes
as fancy takes it;
poverty
and power
it melts them like ice.

Fate - monstrous
and empty,
you whirling wheel,
you are malevolent,
well-being is vain
and always fades to nothing,
shadowed
and veiled
you plague me too;
now through the game
I bring my bare back
to your villainy.

Fate, in health
and virtue,
is against me
driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate
strikes down the strong man,
everyone weep with me!

You can very easily hear liberty being smothered in those words. They are a very appropriate homage to what Obama really stands for.

Obama places himself in the light as a deity of destiny. Yet like the goddess of fate, Obama is seen as a symbol of blessing to some and one of capricious demagoguery to others.

The evidence is in how each of us hears the following quote from Obama: "I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions."

What is it that self-induces a monolithic epidemic of his highness’ perceived worth to the people of this nation? Who else spoke like this in history?

King Saul, Nero, Mehmed II, Ivan, Napoleon… and of course, Adolph Hitler.

And like those incarnates of evil, Barack Hussein Obama will DEMAND your money, your service, and your freedoms while commanding your love, your intellect, and your unswervingly blind devotion.

All you have to do is look at the droves of followers he draws. They remind me of the religious fanatics who refuse to think for themselves in Monty Python’s Life of Brian. They latch on to a person rather than ideal.

And that is the danger.

The issues are again ignored in favor of an idol. It seems that more and more people tend to think that as long as the idol gets the go ahead, the issues will be resolved. The only time that happens is in totalitarian governments. And the result was the lsot of liberty and even life for the citizenry.

Look at the greatness that America is. Has there ever been a time when our nation’s success has been affected by ANYTHING Obama and the current democratic leadership is touting?

This great country has again and again risen to greatness because of how its people deal with the issues of the respective times. From our struggle for independence to the Civil War and into the unknown of manifest destiny, it has been about how individuals mattered to the greater good. Even the semi-socialist, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, knew that it was about the people and the circumstances they faced and not himself. And it was the people of this nation that rose up to agonizingly overcome the great depression or sacrificed in commitment to helping defeat fascism in World War Two. Even though I, along with my fellow conservatives, repeatedly reminisce about how great Ronald Wilson Reagan was, it wasn’t because of whom he was inasmuch as it was about how he motivated (NOT INSPIRED) action among us to take responsibility for what America needed from us. Today’s democrats seem to forget what one of their own promulgated; “As not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!”

Obama and his liberal contemporaries not only want you to look to the government for all your answers but want to make sure that you will not have any other resource to access….including yourself.

As you can tell, I have not spent this time promoting John McCain. I have been trying to convey to you the utter disaster Obama would be for our nation. I sincerely long for you to hear that klaxon of danger like I do.

Call him what you will – Obamanation, Obamanable, Czarbama, Obamaramalamadingdong – he represents a clear and present danger to the future of this country. He wants each American to cut back on personal luxuries and even needs. We are to turn down our heaters in winter and turn the thermostat up during summer. We are to inflate our tires more to save gas. We are to control our eating habits. These things seem to be common sense to most of us. But we usually do them on our own terms under our own discretion. Once Barry boy gets into the presidential residence (You know he’ll change the name of the building), those will be things that will be mandatory and we will suffer fines and punishment if we don’t. Obama wants a national civilian security force that will be just as strong and powerful as our current armed forces. And you know service in this will be mandatory as well.

The last time stuff like this was done in the world, the language spoken was GERMAN!

Make no mistake. An Obama administration will be the first step to fascism and a nation of obsolete men.

If you can’t vote FOR McCain, please, please vote AGAINST Obama.

"Obama adviser: See 'Winnie the Pooh' for U.S. security"

The wonderful thing about Tigger…

…is that Tigger may be our National Security advisor If Obama gets elected!!!

I am serious.

"Winnie the Pooh seems to me to be a fundamental text on national security," said Richard Danzig, potential national security adviser for an Obama presidency and Bill Clinton's former Navy secretary.

Obama’s potential National Security Advisor

He also suggested U.S. soldiers, spies and anti-terror experts should learn that insurgents wish to be like superheroes such as Luke Skywalker. "We have been raised on a theory of superheroes," Danzig said a terrorist told him. "We all want to be like Luke Skywalker."

Luke Skywalker: model for insurgent terrorist

And Danzig claims that one of the best books on terrorism he has read isn’t even about terrorism! "It's Bill Buford's book, 'Among the Thugs,' which is a description of soccer violence in Britain."

Now, I really have to wonder if the Joint Chiefs will be comprised of the Power Puff Girls, Deputy Dawg will be the Attorney General, and Yogi Bear will be the Secretary of the Interior. After all, there are probably related national issues that can be explained in any cartoon text. And we already know that Obama will turn the secret service over to the Nation of Islam.

And I still really fear that no matter how hard Obama’s team sucks on his colon, the morons who want to vote for “change” will still elect him in November. Personally, I think the DNC needs to change its diapers and stop looking to children’s entertainment for political substance.
